The "Option Icon" Modem (you can see it in Orange's
catalog<http://www.orange.co.il/23657.html?gotoCat=2>)
works out of the box with 9.04 and 9.10, only needs the adjustments as
mentioned here<http://www.linuxguide.org.il/ubuntu/%D7%9E%D7%95%D7%93%D7%9D_%D7%A1%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%9C%D7%90%D7%A8%D7%99_%D7%91%D7%90%D7%95%D7%91%D7%95%D7%A0%D7%98%D7%95>.
I have used it extensively on my laptop (9.04, arch and 9.10).

After that you get a nice "Mobile Broadband" connection in network manager.

Good Luck!

Tom.
