<div>Hi, Everyone,<br><br>I was approached by someone in Europe who plans to establish a startup in Israel, based on open source technology, to build a green (very low power consumption) data center. They plan to begin the project in around 3 months, but would like to start speaking with relevant experts and possibly locate a CTO.<br>
<br>The requirements are as follows:<br><br>-All-rounder in Open Source web server technology, especially in high-scalability, availability, Ethernet networking virtualization and cloud computing, areas such as REST vs. SOA<br>
<br>-Good knowledge of functional programming and concurrency on multi-core hardware, Erlang programming language, and Erlang-based web frameworks <br><br>-Replace enterprise hardware with processors from consumer products such as graphics cards or ARM-based processors<br>
<br>-New database technologies such as CouchDB and other distributed key-value stores<br><br>-3 years of project management experience, ability to apply input from academic projects in the area<br><br>-Keen interest in building a hosting service / data center that has the smallest carbon-water-energy footprint possible<br>
