Maybe it's open under a different name? (the /dev/VGNAME/LVNAME path<br>
is just a convenience symlink to /dev/mapper/..., and you should<br>
really look for devices with the same major/minor block device<br>
numbers).<br>

If worse comes to worst - do the Windows and reboot to single user.<br>
