At least when I bought them the price difference between APC line<br>
interactive models and on-line models was staggering.<br>

I should mention that I heard the UPS kick in (and got the APC service<br>
warning message), but I guess it didn't kick in fast enough (the price<br>
of line interactive, I guess).<br>
