Dear all,

DJB (qmail, djbdns, etc. etc.) and Tanja Lange shall give a talk at Weizmann institute on this Sunday concerning a new cryptographic library that they have worked on. The new library is secure against side channels, and should (hopefully) allow you a simple method of plugging in encryption when you need it.

Talk will be in English, free for all to attend (Ziskind building is the Math/CS one).

FYI
The security impact of a new cryptographic library

Abstract:
This talk introduces a new cryptographic library, NaCl, and explains how the
design and implementation of the library avoid various types of cryptographic
disasters suffered by previous cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL. This is
joint work with Peter Schwabe.
