after a power failure when I try to boot my Ubuntu 12.04 machine it
displays the Grub menu but it
does not react to any keyboard combination I tried.
If I press Del earlier, it does get in the BIOS and there I can use
the keyboard, so it does not seem to be a hardware issue, but in the
GRUB menu no reaction.
So this things seems to be stuck.
Any idea what could I do?
If you can't find it, you can simply try to restore your BIOS to factory/fail-safe conditions, or disconnect it from mains, pull out the CMOS battery for a minute or so, and then return it..
