On a Windows 10 machine Libreoffice has no problem with the same files. <br>

And a really strange thing - if I run Libreoffice from the command line<br>
instead of clicking on an icon or the KDE menu, it works fine.<br>

I thought this was a utf-8 problem, but my locale seems to be correct.<br>
