The Absorption Office has honored the city of Bet Shemesh to
experience the Israeli professional theatre
in presenting:

 'Ikar Shachachti' - Forgotten the Gist

> based on 'Menachem Mendel' by Shalom Aleichem
> Jewish history as experienced through the words, dreams and loves of
> small people.
> Directed by Michael Tafliski

> Menachem - Mendel leaves his wife and children in Bctrilbka and journeys to
> the great world to look for blessing and success. He has an eye opening experince seeing other cities,
> > bills, and other things ...

> >  Shaina-Shindle , his wife, has been left home in the real world, begs her husband to return to the world of reality that he
has left.  We accompany Menachem his honest trials, however
unsuccessful, returning back home.

An original composition full of humour based on the classic of Shalom
Aleichem, the artist that combines both comedy and tragedy.

>The play is performed in easy Hebrew.

>The play will take place on Sunday, May 31st, at 20:00, at Matnas Zinman in Bet Shemesh.

 Tickets cost only 10 shekel!  They will be on sale Sunday, May 24th,
