[RBS] Bible scholar Judy Klitsner--Pardes, Dec 5, free

Hi all,
Israeli Bible scholar Judy Klitsner will be holding a book launch for  
her new book, "Subversive Sequels in the Bible: How Biblical Stories  
Mine and Undermine Each Other" (Jewish Publication Society).  It will  
be an evening of Bible bracketed by music, with comments by Rabbi  
Daniel Landes, a medley from Judy's book on the Dynamic and Subversive  
Nature of Biblical Stories, and live music.  There will be  
refreshments, books available for purchase, (and there's no charge for  
the evening.)

Saturday night, December 5, 8 pm
at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, corner of Pierre Koenig and  
Rivka Streets in Jerusalem
