The Benjamin Library is proud to present two new programs for ADULTS in
English:
 
1. Memoir Writing Workshop: Capture YOUR unique and personal moments in
writing, to share with your friends and loved ones. In eight fun-filled
workshops you will acquire the skills needed to bring your stories to life
and transform them into interesting narratives. This Memoir Writing Workshop
is led by Ellen Greenfield, a certified memoir writing instructor from the
Soleil Lifestory Network. She has been facilitating workshops in Beit
Shemesh, Jerusalem and throughout Israel since 2002.
          The course will be offered on Tuesday mornings 9:30am, starting
November 3, 2009.
          This course is being offered at an introductory price of 400nis
for the first 8 sessions. It's a two to two and a half hour workshop,
depending on the number of participants.
          There will be a special FREE Lecture on Tuesday October 27 at
11am. This introductory lecture will be 45 minutes and will explain what
memoir writing is and why and how you will benefit from this workshop.

    2.  Effective Writing Instruction:  Do you want to be a published
writer? Have you always wanted to publish an article or write a really
strong letter to your newspaper or government official?  If so, this is the
workshop for you. You will learn how to write, what to write, how and where
to submit your work.
 
        Four sessions are planned. Cost is 60 shekels for 4 one hour
workshops. More sessions will be added upon demand.
 
        Monday mornings, from 11 to 12.00
        Beginning on Monday 2nd of November.
 
        This series will be given by Gita Gordon, author of: South African
Journeys, Temurot, Flashback, Mystery in the Amazon, Scattered Blossoms.
