series which will IY”H cover the principles governing Hilchos Shabbos.
This awareness will help us apply these principles to shailos that

Halachos should be constantly reviewed by every Jewish woman- so please
join us!

RABBI AHARON LUBLING
In this course, we will learn how the Avos and Imahos are our physical
and spiritual parents. As paradigms, they continue to provide us with
spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional strength, to successfully
meet all of life's challenges as Shomrei Torah U'Mitzvos.
"Maaseh Avos Siman Labonim" -The deeds and experiences of the Avos are a
sign for the future deeds and experiences of their children for all
generations; (Midrash Tanchuma, Lech Lecha, 9). By studying the words
and deeds of the Avos and Imahos we will study our own potential and how
to actualize that potential.
4. CONTEMPORARY HALACHIC ISSUES
WHAT DO I DO WHEN……
TUESDAY 9:15 – 10:15
Oct 20, 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, 24, Dec 1, 8
RABBI HILLEL HOROVITZ
Every moment of one's life is another opportunity to connect to Hashem
and His Torah. Students will explore (time permitting) diverse issues
such as idolatry, careless oaths, finders keepers (?), weddings of
irreligious Jews, lying, driving laws, Sha'atnez, Shidduchim, Loshon
Hora, magic shows, air conditioner noise and some particularly relevant
laws of Yichud. Students will work their way through the sources and
complete the course with a greater awareness of how the Torah guides us
daily in every scenario we may face.
5. PARSHA CONCEPTS FOR THE SOUL OF THE JEWISH WOMAN
TUESDAY 10:20 – 11:20
Oct 20, 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, 24, Dec 1, 8
MRS. PENINAH ROTHMAN
In this course we will explore some themes that will refresh one’s
perspective and increase one’s Avodas Hashem. Each week an idea from the
Parsha will be selected and explained according to classical Torah
commentators and Chassidic writings. The emphasis of the class will be
on points that are especially relevant to the life of the Jewish Woman.
All skill levels welcome.

MRS. TZIPPORA PRICE, M.SC
This course is a psycho-education workshop. We will explore the
potential challenges inherent in extended family relationships. Both
Torah sources and modern psychological guidelines regarding how to
establish and maintain healthy boundaries will be explored. The focus of
the course is to learn practical methods which may be utilized to
maximize family harmony and minimize conflict.
7. CHINUCH BONIM PART I
WEDNESDAY 8:30 – 9:30 PM
Oct 21, 28, Nov 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec 2, 9
MRS. ATTARA WAXMAN
THIS CLASS IS THE FIRST OF A THREE SEMESTER SERIES. YOU MUST COMMIT TO
TAKE ALL THREE SEMESTERS IN ORDER TO REGISTER.
The goal of this parenting class is to learn more about ourselves and
our children. We will learn to hone our interpersonal skills while
learning how to speak with our children. We will learn how to avoid
conflict and develop problem solving skills. Practically, we will keep
our eyes focused on the long term goals, and on the Torah perspective
regarding how to
relate to others. For example, we will learn to be dan l’kaf zechus and
preserve our authority as parents, while considering our child’s
perspective.
