Top 10 Reasons You* Should Go to the Likrat Kallah / Miriam Adahan
Event on Wednesday Night:

1. You'll be supporting Likrat Kallah, an awesome RBS-based Pure
Chessed (TM) organization that donates household items to needy kallas
(and needy kallot too!). Everything goes to the brides, all work is
done by volunteers, and over 776 young women have been given a
'shower' by Likrat Kallah.

2. Miriam Adahan is speaking on "Facing Life's Challenges with
Confidence and Faith".

3. Yes, YOU have life challenges, but you could use a little more
confidence and faith. :)

4. Admission (which = pure tzedaka) is just 35 NIS (a bargain!). If
that's a challenge, maybe you have an extra nice wedding gift in your
house. Bring it to the event in lieu of paying the 35 NIS admission,
and it will go to a kallah. Isn't that nice? Any new household items
are appreciated. (If you'd like to pay admission and donate a new gift
for a kallah as well, it will be warmly received!)

5. Each kallah who benefits from Likrat Kallah receives 5 useful
household basics of her choice, purchased just for her - pots,
silverware, dishes, towels, food containers, knives, small appliances
- and then an additional lovely gift from those donated to the
organization. Each kallah is verified as being truly in need - but
then the organization doesn't just send them a box full of stuff, but
truly makes up a lovely spectacle for them, really like shopping in a
glamorous store - so the kallahs feel like the queens they really are.

6. In addition, Wednesday night's event has a great Chinese Auction -
watches, toys, jewelry, services, and more!

7. The event starts at 8:15 PM. Come on - the sun goes down at 5, by 8
your whole house will be clean, any short people living therein will
be happily asleep (ymmv), and you'll really, really want to get out of
the house AND do a mitzva at the same time! Win win!

8. It's all the mitzva of going to a wedding, but you don't have to
wear those annoying heels. They never fit you properly anyway. And
extra bonus: no choosing between the dubious boureka and the
fossilized fish. There will only be yummy refreshments at this event.
