[RBS] [Weather in Beit Shemesh

We get weather that moves up from the desert, from the direction of Kiryat
Gat, without the cooling breezes of the sea or the altitude of the
mountains.  Tel Aviv is wetter, but we're hotter.

We've had a very hot and humid summer this year, and it's not over yet. Is
it just my imagination, or has the tempeature in this area increased quite a
bit over the past 10 years?  I look at the weather forecast on TV every day,
and Beit Shemesh is hotter than Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Why? Is it due to
the air pollution, or is it due to more dust being in the air, due to all
the building going on?
