[RBS] Medical negligance

Unfortunately my mother has been the victim of medical negligance on the
part of a prof. at Rambam hospital in Haifa. She was undergoing homeopathic
treatment to remove a small growth on her lip and was given the wrong dosage
which left her unable to eat, speak etc. The prof. is avoiding the situation
and didn't even turn up for an appointment he gave her - we found out that
the dosage was wrong from another professional - he does not know if the
situation will improve, nor does he know what to do - in the meantime he has
told her to wait a couple of weeks (!!) and see what happens and not
complain because lo aleinu there are people who are much worse off! (She is
quite aware of that and this response was neither very comforting nor very
professional!) She was told that the treatment was very simple and was not
told about any possible side-effects (possibly when the dosage is right
there aren't any?), nor that she would have to take time off work (and
everything else for tht matter).
I believe I heard something on Kol Chai about an organisation that helps
combat medical negligance. Does anyone know of anything we can do to save
others from Chas Veshalom experiencing the same thing? How about making sure
someone does something to at least try and repair my mother's face - this dr
was the top prof at Rambam who was supposed to have all the answers?
Please reply by email.
Thank you so much in advance,
Besorot Tovot,
