[RBS] TONIGHT: Free workshop on raising bilingual LD children - library dedication

The Benjamin Children's Library is pleased to invite the public
to the dedication of the

Richard E. Rudolph
Parenting, Education and Learning Disabilities Collection
       
A collection of over 200 books has been donated by Riki and Yissachar Fried
in memory of Riki's father, Richard E. Rudolph.  The collection features
hundreds of books to help parents be the best parents they can be.  A great
many of the books are about learning and developmental disabilities
including ADHD, dyslexia, Aspergers, autism, alternative therapies and more.

Sunday, April 25, 2010  at 8:15pm,  at the Library
Meyerhoff Matnas, Hadekel 9, Givat Sharett, Beit Shemesh 
(Bus number 14 from BS/RBS)

The evening will feature Gayle Shimoff of Parents with Partners, R.A.,
offering an interactive workshop for parents. "Kids, Teens and Heblish: The
challenges of raising LD children in a bilingual environment", an
interactive workshop for parents.

If you think that you will be attending, please RSVP to
bdzuck at netvision.net.il. If pertinent, please provide the age of your
children so that Gayle will know what age to focus on. (You may still attend
even if you have not responded.)

A membership at the library costs 100nis and allows a member to borrow four
books at a time from any section of the library.  A book from the Parenting
section may be taken in addition to these four.  The library has always
encouraged good parenting in this way.
