residents:

Sunday August 15th 
18:00   Theater:  About People and Animals, Psik Theatre, Commedia
De-la-Arte. Hebrew. 

20:30   Movie: Jerusalem Field Journal, Amir and Sharon Balaban, 2010. A
first screening of a movie about the relationship between man and nature
in Jerusalem. Followed by Meeting with the artists.  Lecture in Hebrew
but movie has no words so suitable for all languages. 
 
Monday August 16th 
18:00   Animated Birds – birds in animated movies. Techniques and movies
from all over the world. Orah Schwartz, animator and bird researcher.
Suitable also for children. Hebrew
20:30   Animated Animals. Parts of movies from across the globe. Orah
Schwartz, an animator and bird researcher. Hebrew. 
 
Tuesday August 17th 
18:00   Animals in Love, Charbonnier Laurent, 2007. A movie filmed in
five continents, brings us insights from animal life. French, Hebrew
subtitles.
              With activity: "To talk like an animal" – Ika Chipman, The
Jerusalem Bird Observatory.  Activity multi-lingual. 
20:30    Gorillas in the mist, Michael Apted, 1988. English, Hebrew
subtitles.  Lecture by Idit Katznelson, Tel Aviv University. . 
 
Wednesday August 18th 
18:00    March of the Penguins, jacquet Luc, 2005. French, Hebrew
subtitles
           With activity: Penguins for the poor – where can you enjoy
penguins without traveling to Antarctica? Amir Balaban, the Jerusalem
Bird Observatory. Hebrew. 
20:30   the Hulla – The Never-Ending lake. Gabby Adam 2001. 
 
Thursday August 19th 
18:00   Deep Blue, byatt Andy, 2003. 
           Lecture and tour of water-life. Create a world of water in
your back yard. Amir Balaban, the Jerusalem Bird Observatory. 
20:30   Tour of the Jerusalem Bird Observatory – what does a migrating
bird need from man? 
           Movie:  Winged Migration, Perrin Jacques, 2001. French...but
very little talking....good for all languages.
