[RBS] Need advice about replacing a boiler

Our 8 year older has sprung a leak. We were told it needs to be
replaced and 8 years is about average for the lifespan of a boiler. We
are looking for any advice we should know before replacing our boiler,
pitfalls to watch out for, recommendations about who we should use,
etc. In addition, can anyone tell us if there are differences between
the boilers out there?
