No, I am not on the tznius brigade, but I have such a great idea for closing necklines that I had to share it and I felt that this was a good forum to do just that...

basically - you need two bobby pins (you may have read this recently in Hamodia).  You gather the fabric on the seam of the shoulder on one side folding it onto the inside.  you then slip the bobby pin through so that it acts as a clasp for the edges that you have gathered.  You repeat the same with the other side.

THE RESULTS - two very neat looking and secure edges and a good neckline.

SO, why is this better than anything else....

SAFETY PINS - make holes in fabric, if wearing you are not wearing a collar then it looks really ugly from back, the front also looks like it has been gathered.
TURNING TOP ROUND - firstly, often you see the label, although you have secured the neckline at the front, you are now showing your neck at the sides and back (issur min HaTorah)
PULL UP AT FRONT AND DOWN AT BACK - when you have finished dressing and you look in the mirror, everything is fine - however, once you start moving and walking, the top starts to slide back down again (been there, done it) and then neckline is again exposed....
