The Nesher cement factory wants to burn tires and other refuse at the plant
right outside Bet Shemesh. The rock-mining operations in our backyard want
to increase their operations. The potential health hazard is immense.

Many active members of our community, such as Zvi Wolicki, Renee Halpert and
others have spent countless hours trying to make sure that this never
happens. 

Next week, there will be a hearing in the Knesset, with the Minister of
Environment, MKs, and others, together with representatives from the OTHER
side.

The more "support" that we bring to this meeting, the better it will look to
the decision makers. You do not need to talk or otherwise be active, but you
should be attentive.
