[RBS] Rav Yoel Schwartz from Nachal Charedi speaking at Menorat HaMaor this Shabbat

Kehillat Menorat HaMaor is having a very special guest Drasha given by
Rav Yoel Schwartz this coming Shabbat.

Rav Yoel is a native Yerushalmi, who studied at the Ponevezh and Mir
yeshivot in Eretz Yisrael.
 He was a close talmid of Hagaon Harav Chaim Shmulevitz, ztl, of Mir yeshiva.
 Rav Yoel is truly a renaissance man, intimately involved in numerous
endeavors on  behalf of Klal Yisrael.

He served for many years as the mashgiach ruchani of Yeshivat Itri and
currently serves as Rosh Metivta of Yeshivat Dvar Yerushalayim.
Rav Yoel founded the Nachal Charedi unit of the IDF and has nurtured
it since its inception

 Rav Yoel received this year's Moskowitz Prize For Zionism.
The prize, which is s given to Israelis "striving to insure the
strength of our Jewish homeland" , was bestowed upon Rav Shwartz at a
festive gathering that took place on Yom Yerushalayim in the presence
of hundreds of  admirers who gathered to pay tribute to Rav Shwartz
and his fellow honorees.

The Drasha will take place after Tefilla at approx. 10.15am
