[RBS] Have you ever bought a major appliance online?

We need a new washing machine, kind of fast...or else we need to buy more
clothing :)
Prices seem much lower at online sites but I am hesitant.  Have you ever
successfully bought a major appliance   online and if so at which site?

Also interested in hearing about a second hand washer you may know about,
preferably less than 2 years old.
