[RBS] personal recommendations for appliances

I am trying to help someone who has recently bought an apartment in RBS 
and is looking into buying a frig, an oven, a washer, and a dryer and 
wants personal recommendations on what brands people were happy or 
unhappy with. I will pass the information along.
