[RBS] used/new washing machines?

Okay, so my machine is not working and will need so much repair that it seems fiscally irresponsible to go that route.  Looking for recomendations for what types of machines are good, bad or amazing and from where or whom (reliable) they may be purchased for reasonable cost!  Not to worry that I will be able to make more own decision, but all comments and feedback are welcome.
