[RBS] The response to Torah-letter RH gift!

I'm always stuck at this time of the year with figuring out how I can
send a catchy Rosh HaShana greeting to my thus-far totally disengaged
(from Judaism) family members. But when I saw the advertisement for
Torah letters on these lists, I checked into it and decided it would fit
the bill both for satisfying my need to do something meaningful, and
perhaps just maybe arouse some quest for information.

Well, the emailed cards went out from www.Torah-letters.com today, and
the response has been beyond expectation! Even my pre-teen relatives
were completely fascinated, and all phoned to hear why I chose each
letter (their Jewish names, of course), and listened to my little drasha
on each Jew's responsibility to write their own Torah, written by a
scribe, etc., etc., if they ever visit we'll go to the Kotel and maybe
by then the Torah will have been complete and we can see it.

I'm thrilled with their appreciation, and grateful to the conceivers of
this project. Check out the site - please G-d, I'll also use it for
honoring or in memoriam occasions as well.
