[RBS] Re my post on old items: car seats that were in accidents can't be used

A few people reminded me that car seats that were in accidents are no longer
safe.  If you have such a  car seat PLEASE put it in the dumpster area where
it is clear that is not usable or better, CUT THE STRAPS SO NO ONE TAKES IT.
The one I saw was on top of the recycling dumpster nowhere near a garbage
dumpster and was likely picked up by someone who needed it.  If you have a
safe car seat please post it.

There are many young couples and needy families, single moms , people
without jobs.... who need what you don't want.  In the last week I have seen
car seats  in perfect condition, printers that only needed toner ,
strollers, mattresses and clothing in fine condition just left by the
dumpsters.  Please consider posting "give aways" to the list or taking them
to a local gmach.   It can rally make a  difference in someone's life and it
is far less embarrassing for a person to receive that way then to have to
take something from a dumpster area.  I am happy to be a go- between if you
have items that you need out right away, I will gladly post them and take
them to give away if they are not picked up in the time limit you need them
out by.
