HaRav David Bar-Hayim's well-known psak halacha permitting the consumption of kitniyot during Pesach for all Jews living in Israel has taken on renewed momentum. More Jews of Ashkenazi extraction are following suit and some rabbis have come closer to the Rav's ground-breaking ruling.
