  Ministry of Housing markets 7,000 new apartments
  The ministry has marketed land for 10,000 new apartments since january 
2011
  The Ministry of Housing and Construction today announced it is marketing 
land for 6,723 new apartments. This is the largest ever offering of land for 
new apartments since 2009.
  Lots being marketed include for 101 units in two sites in el Aviv, 300 
units in Shoham, 402 units in Yokneam, 200 units in Ramat Gan, 1,148 units 
in Tirat Ha'Carmel, 222 units in Tsur Hadassah, , 350 units in Kiryat Gat, 
197 units in Eilat and by far the largest number of units - 2,342 in 
Nazareth Illt.

  The country  needs approximately 100,000 new housing units in order to 
satisfy current demand.
