the most obvious reason to subscribe is in order to know what is
really going on in all parts of Israel, without  the rechilut in some
papers

then there is the fact that it is written in spoken hebrew, and
reading their parsha and tzedek articles each shabbat will enhance
your shabbat AND your spoken hebrew
and letting your kids read the kids' magazine (and the parsha and
tzedek articles) as well as the front page news will help their hebrew
tremendously

but today's news is that in the Motzash supplement are two vital pages
back-to-back - one listing interesting shiruim and the other, listing
volunteering ideas.
(i know, this isn't news for people who read it cover to cover since
the supplement started)
