[RBS] Separate beach in Tel Aviv

I just read on ynet.co.il (article from beginning of August) that the separate beach in Tel Aviv was closed due to lack of lifeguards.  Is it still closed?  Does anyone know any information, or how I can go about checking it out?  I was planning on going by bus tomorrow morning with my girls and would appreciate any up to date knowledge.
