I have a great idea for a Chanukah activity during Chanukah for your girls
(ages 12+).
Together with artist, Marina Lubomirsky, I now teach needle felting. It's a
wonderful, fun technique for "painting" designs with wool fibers on wool
felt.
It's fun; they will learn a new technique in an hour; it isn't messy and it
isn't expensive.
No special tools required. We supply the wool and the punch needles.
