[RBS] GREAT NEWS - subsidy on abuse course

Dear Colleagues,


 

I am very pleased to send you this new information regarding our course for
professionals in the treatment of sexual child abuse.  'Magen Leyeladim
Ulemishpachot Bet Shemesh' is now offering this course at a subsidized price
that may never again be available in Beit Shemesh.  There are a limited
amount of spots left.  The course will be taught by a teacher from ELI (The
Israel Association for Child Protection) a leading organization in the
field.  The language of instruction will be Hebrew. The instructor is aware
that Hebrew is a second language for some of the participants.
 
The course is meant for psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social
workers, welfare officers (P'kidei sa'ad le chok noar), psychotherapists,
guidance counselors (educational), art therapists, clinical criminologists,
family therapists and probation officers (K'tzinai mivchan). If you have

This course is recognized by the Revacha, however only professionals with
certain qualifications (social workers and psychologists with a 2nd degree
and license, psychiatrists, and criminologists) will be eligible for
referrals through the Revacha upon completion of the course.  The course is
also recognized for the purpose of a Hishtalmut.
 

The subsidy is being provided in order to encourage more people to take this
course, as there is a severe shortage in Bet Shemesh of therapists for child
abuse cases.

 

The subsidy is 50% of the cost of the course. 

 

If there are less than 15 participants, the course costs 6,500 NIS, less the
subsidy, equals 3,250 NIS each participant.

 

However, if there are 15 or more of us, then the cost comes down to 5,000
NIS, less the subsidy, equals 2,500 NIS.  Please tell your colleagues to
join and we will all benefit! 

 

We will need a deposit (450 NIS) made out to ELI.  The remainder can be paid
by check in an additional two payments or by credit card.  Additional
payments are available if paid by credit card.
 
We will be meeting every Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.,
beginning Sunday February 20th for approx. 6-8 months.  The course will take
place in Ramat Beit Shemesh.
 
Registration for the course is now.  Deposits may be delivered to Batya
Cohen before Wednesday February 15th.  Registration will close on Wednesday
February 16th.
