[RBS] course for professionals - treating abuse

Dear Colleagues,                                                                    

 

I am very pleased to send you additional information regarding our course for professionals in the treatment of sexual child abuse. The course will be taught by a teacher from ELI (The Israel Association for Child Protection) a leading organization in the field.  The language of instruction will be Hebrew. The instructor is aware that Hebrew is a second language for some of the participants.
 
The course is meant for psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, welfare officers (P'kidei sa'ad le chok noar), psychotherapists, guidance counselors (educational), art therapists,clinical criminologists, family therapists and probation officers (K'tzinai mivchan). This course is recognized by the Revacha, however only professionals with certain qualifications (social workers and psychologists with a 2nd degree and license, psychiatrists, and criminologists) will be eligible for referrals through the Revacha upon completion of the course.  The course is also recognized for the purpose of a Hishtalmut.
 
The cost of the course is 4500 NIS, payable to ELI and 500 NIS payable to Magen.  We will need a 10% (450 NIS) deposit made out to ELI.  The remainder can be paid by check in an additional two payments of 2025 NIS each or by credit card.  Additional payments are available if paid by credit card.
 
We will be meeting every Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., beginning Sunday February 13th for approx. 6-8 months.  The course will take place in Ramat Beit Shemesh.

אני שמחה לשתף אתכם בפרטים נוספים לגבי הקורס שלנו בנושא טיפול בהתעללות מינית בילדים. הקורס יועבר על ידי מרצה מהארגון אל"י (האגודה להגנת הילד)- ארגון מוביל בתחום הנ"ל. הקורס יתקיים בעברית. המרצה מודע שעברית אינה שפת האם של חלק מהמשתתפים.

הקורס הנ"ל מוכר על ידי משרד הרווחה, אך רק בעלי מקצוע עם הכשרה מסויימת (פסיכולוגים ועובדים סוציאליים בעלי תואר שני ורשיון, פסיכיאטריים וקרימינולוגים) יהיו כשירים לקבל הפניות דרך הרווחה אחרי סיום הקורס.  הקורס גם מוכר לצורך השתלמות.

 
עלות הקורס עומדת על 4500 ₪ לאל"י. ועוד 500 ₪ עבור עמותת מגן. ההרשמה לקורס כרוכה במקדמה של 10% (450 ₪ ) לפקודת אל"י. את שאר הסכום ניתן לחלק לשני תשלומים נוספים של 2025 ש"ח. ניתן לשלם גם בכרטיס אשראי, וכך לפרוס את העלות ליותר תשלומים.
 
הקורס ייערך כל שבוע ביום ראשון בין השעות 13:30 – 16:30, החל מ 13.2.11, במשך כ 6-8 חודשים. הקורס יתקיים ברמת בית שמש.
