We invite you to join Dr. Phil Schneider (visiting from NY) and Uri Schneider for a special screening and Q&A of our documentary, Transcending Stuttering: The Inside Story.  On the heels of “The King’s Speech” our documentary and discussion is a fantastic follow-up for the “real story” of stuttering - appropriate for professionals, people who stutter and the general public.  English film with Hebrew subtitles.

We have established the Schneider Center for Fluency and Learning with proper professional licensing and tax receipts, with offices in Jerusalem and Ramat Bet Shemesh.  As we do in NY, we are dedicated to helping people improve their communication skills and freedom of expression.

Talk to us about our exciting project at Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh, where we are wrapping-up year one, of a multi-year project.  Our goal is to research and monitor the acquisition of learning skills during the gap years of study.  We are developing learning modules and teacher training as well as mechanisms to increase accountability and tracking to make sure no students “fall through the cracks.”  
We look forward to sharing and publishing results in the future.

בפרויקט המרגש בישיבת "נתיב אריה", אנו מסיימים את השנה הראשונה, שנה בה שלבנו מחקר רב שנתי. ומטרתנו היתה להגביר מיומנויות למידה ולהרחיב את האחריות באמצעות מעקב מקיף אחר לימודי תלמידי הישיבה והתקדמותו האישית של כל תלמיד במהלך שנת הלימודים. נשמח לשתף אתכם בפרויקט זה.

We will host our first intensive retreat for adults and mature adolescents who stutter, in scenic Riverdale, NY August 8-10, 2011.  The three days will be a unique opportunity for a select few to launch the process of change as a group led by Phil Schneider and Uri Schneider, and then each participant will continue with individual appointments in the following months (in person or via Skype.)
