Citi: No Israeli interest rate cut without recession
"We don't foresee interest rate cuts over the next 12 months."
Citi Capital Markets says that the Bank of Israel will not lower the
interest rate so long as Israel is not in a recession. "The Bank of Israel
was the first central bank to hike rates in 2009 but has not - yet, at
least - chosen to be the first to cut," and kept the interest rate for
September unchanged at 3.25%.
