HaRav Hayim Soloveichik has commenced  his weekly Gemara shiur which takes place tonight (Tuesday night) at
Mosdot HaRav Aharon Soloveichik-Beit Knesset Ohr Shalom.  The shiur covers Rishonim, adopts a lomdus approach and encourages an in-depth appreciation and understanding of the sugyot in the Gemara. During the month of Ellul the shiur will be learning the sugyot in Masechet Rosh HaShannah which pertain to the tefillot of Rosh HaShannah. Tonight, specifically, the shiur will address malchuyot, zichronot, and shofarot.
