Eshkol Payis is showing the movie Footnote (הערת שוליים) Motzei Shabbat, when the community is hosting the director of S'rugim.  

They have agreed to show the movie again on Monday night at 8:30 pm at Eshkol Payis so long as at least 15 people commit to attend.  It costs 15 NIS.  Please let us know ASAP if you are interested.  The movie is supposed to be excellent.

 The story of a great rivalry between a father and son, both eccentric professors in the Talmud department of Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The son has an addictive dependency on the embrace and accolades that the establishment provides, while his father is a stubborn purist with a fear and profound revulsion for what the establishment stands for, yet beneath his contempt lies a desperate thirst for some kind of recognition.
