i just received a call from Bracha Adler (English teacher at Shaalei
Torah) that she is helping a family in which the parents are not
functioning

the family has no money , no food, very little furniture - the
children are sleeping on torn mattresses on the floor.
she asks if anyone can give (or sell at a low  price) beds or
mattresses, and / or chairs
