Partnership 2Gether Beit Shemesh - Mateh Yehuda - Washington- South
Africa of the Jewish Agency, in coordination with The Gandel Institute
of the Hebrew University is happy to announce the opening of
registration for the 6th annual:

MAKABIM - A course on community leadership in a broad Jewish context

The course is two years and will include weekly sessions of Jewish
learning and volunteering with religious and secular participants in a
cultural Jewish context, led by Shimku El Ami

Eligibility:
Adults from the ages of 25 and up, from Beit Shemesh or Mateh Yehuda.
The program will take place on Thursday evenings from 18:30 - 21:00,
starting on October 18, 2012, at Moshav Nacham

The program is a two year program:
*	During the first year the course will include 24 meetings, a
Shabbat of learning together, a 1 day tour and 	volunteering
*	The second year will include study days, volunteering, and a
study trip overseas (to either Washington or South 	Africa).
*	The cost of the program is 4,000 NIS per person (1,350 NIS for
each year of study, 1,300 NIS for the trip 	overseas)
*	The program is recognized as "gmul hishtalmut b'maslul haishi"
