[RBS] blackberry battery anyone?

Hi
My daugthers blackberry 9300 screen cracked
I put a new screen into it.
Now it shows an icon of a battery with an X over it
Does anyone have a battery we can try in it to make sure that the
battery is the problem?
I dont want to buy a battery and then find out that wasnt the problem
but I installed a faulty screen or something.
