Battery Tips:
-------------------

You can buy a spare battery. they cost around 80-120 shekel
3G Wireless and GPS use allot of battery. you can turn them off from
the pull down menu. to turn off 3G long press power button and choose
Mobile Data off.
there are software that can help you save battery like Juice Defender.
However if you have a phone with low resources that can slow down your
phone.

General Tips
-------------------

you can use your phone as a Netstick. you do that by going to
settings->wireless and networks and choose Tethering and Portable
hotspot

you can mute an incoming call by pressing one of the volume buttons.

If your contacts are synced with google you can edit your contacts on
your computer as well.

if you insert the address for a contact, opening the contact and
clicking on the address will bring up the GPS software with the
contact address already selected.

DejaOffice and Business Calender allow you to link an event to a contact.

Long press on home button will bring the list of recent applications

to see your phone version and model, go to settings-> About phone (all
the way at the bottom)

Google Translate can automatically translate SMS for you (English to
Hebrew and vice versa)

You can show only contacts that have phone numbers by pressing the
menu button inside the contacts and selecting Display Options -> Only
Contacts with phones

My Phone Explorer enables you to copy files between your phone to the
computer by usb, bluetooth or wireless.

you can increase the message text size in the gmail app. to do that,
go to the Gmail app, then press menu button, select More->settings,
select your email account and go to "Message text size"
