[RBS] Yom Rishon Garbage Collection?

Does anyone know why there is no garbage collection in Ramat Beit Shemesh
(other areas?) on Sundays? The garbage lies there from Friday (they seem to
collect very early on Fridays), the whole of Shabbat and Sunday until it is
collected on Monday some time. The stench is unbearable, esp in summer. The
whole city reeks of rotting garbage. Can anything be done about this???
