Ligdol Vlifroach/Mercaz Rakefet is expanding its multidisciplinary staff. Come
and join us!! We are the largest child development center in the area,
supervised by misrad habriut, serving children with developmental challenges in
the greater Bet Shemesh area. Currently we have a staff of over 40
professionals (OT, PT, Speech therapists, psychologists, social workers,
creative expressive therapists, special ed teachers, educational evaluators and
more!) and enjoy a warm professional work environment, with the highest
standards in family centered care. 

 

The
following positions are currently available, starting September 2012.

 

Educational psychologist- this
position is for an "mumche" level educational psychologist, 12-15
hours a week and includes psychological and psycho-didactic testing, treatment,
parent training as well as coordination and supervision of the other
psychosocial therapists (social workers and creative expressive therapists).
Fluent spoken and written Hebrew is a must – proficiency in English is a
plus as well.  

 

Occupational therapist- 15-20 hours
a week, to treat children with a variety of diagnosis including DCD,
handwriting disorders, perceptual issues and much more. Includes participation
in weekly staff meetings and weekly personal supervision. Fluent spoken and
written Hebrew is a must.  Applicants must have a valid misrad habriut
license. This position is appropriate for experienced and new therapists alike.
Includes some afternoon hours. 

 

Art therapist- 5-10 hours weekly, to
work with children mostly from age 5-12 with varying emotional needs and
challenges. Must have appropriate degrees and certificates, experience working
with children necessary. Fluent spoken and written Hebrew is a must –
proficiency in English is a plus as well. Afternoon hours. Weekly staff
meetings and group supervision.
