[RBS] stamps to u.s. rise and chelm has come to RBS

  Hi everyone
Last week I went to the post office and asked for 6 stamps to the USA
He sold me 6 stamps of 5.90 and told me they were going up
Today I had to mail a package and had an already stamped letter to America
The postal clerk told me I had to pay another 30 agarot on the stamped
letter that it now costs 6.20 nios to mail a letter to the States
I asked him if I could buy 5 stamps of 30 agarot each to add to the 5
stamps he sold me last week as I have a mailbox right next to my house and
can post from there
He told me they do not have 30 agarot stamps
I asked for 15 10 agarot stamps
He told me they do not have those either
I asked if they had it at the post office in Bet
He replied n one has any
I asked what the cheapest stamp he has to add to my 5.90 nis stamp
He replied 4 nis
I asked him how I would mail my letters
He said everytime I wanted to mail a letter, I had to come to the post
office
I mean really!?
If this is true, then the lines will be longer than need be
I asked where Rivka is as she speaks English and my Hebrew isnt great
I reallyw anted to make sure I understood him
He said Rinka is no longer at the post office.
Bummer.
I just sent a letter online to the post office asking what to do to avoid
the lines
I hope I get a call back
If anyone else goes to the post office, can you check this out to see if I
understood the clerk? If you go to a post office in another town like
Jerusalem, maybe ask for me?
I really want to make sure I understood correctly
I would think they must have 10 agarot stamps in the main post office in
Bet Shemesh or Jerusalem.
