*Between me and You*

Heartfelt Prayers for the Jewish Woman

Every woman dreams of a good life, a happy home, meaningful relationships,
joyous celebrations … but do we know the way to make those blessings
materialize? How often do we feel our deepest desires bottled up in our
hearts, hoping that God hears our silent yearning?

There is a better way to draw down blessings for us and for all Israel.
When you want something, pray for it!

This precious volume of prayers, in English and Hebrew, drawn from the
words of Rav Noson's Likutey Tefilot, gives expression to the hopes and
dreams of each Jewish woman. Organized by topic, here are prayers to sing
with, to cry over, to believe in and to soar with. Use them to discover
parts of yourself you never knew existed, and to clarify the values you
hold dear. Above all, let them open your heart to receive the greatest
blessing: a new closeness to the Provider of all.

-----------------

A book such as this can give you access to your own inner life.
As a woman, you know how communication is the gate to connection. You have
seen this in your relationship with the most significant people in your
life.
You now have the opportunity to take this further, so that your
relationship with God is just as vivid. You may have groped for words. You
are not alone. Look at the prayers presented here, and let them open your
heart.

*From the Introduction by Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller
Acclaimed author and lecturer*

The difference between most prayers and the prayers in ‘Between me and You’
is the difference between writing a letter and engaging in a conversation.
In a letter, I express my own feelings and hopes. In a conversation, I also
get to know the other. As I recite the words of these prayers, I can almost
feel a Divine smile.
If I can presume to make one recommendation to the publisher, I would urge
that every copy of ‘Between me and You’ be sold with a large drawstring
pouch. Since most skirts are made without pockets, we must have some way to
carry this volume with us at all times.
