[RBS] Osher Ad and the latest nonsense

Dear all in listland(s):

I am writing in reaction to a story from today's Globes (June 24). The 
link is below.

I would like to urge all people reading this list to specifically shop 
at Osher Ad at least once in the next month.  Personally, I have not yet 
had the opportunity, but now that I have read this article, I will make 
it a point to go within the next week.

In my opinion, it is about time that this nonsense be put to a stop.  
The amount of control that certain elements in our community strive to 
exert over just about every aspect of our lives is unwarranted, 
unnecessary, and unwanted.  It is a travesty against democracy, against 
community values, and quite frankly, against halacha.
