[RBS] Urgent question for the "chemists" or anyone who knows bleach

I bought a (plastic) bottle of bleach (for cleaning) and accidentally left
it out in the sun.  It is now bulging at the bottom.  Of course I realize I
can't open it,  but how can I release the pressure so it doesn't explode?
put it in cold water? a cold room??
any suggestions??????
