[RBS] DIESEL FUEL - buyer be ware ! !

Update for those who have diesel cars and vans.

There are several economy-priced diesel providers in Beit Shemesh, costing about 1 shekel per liter less than the "brand" gas stations.

It's cheap for a reason!

The fuel supply for the out-of-network diesel stations is entirely unregulated and fraught with tampered and diluted fuel.  Also, these sellers are entirely uninsured and cash-pay-and-run operations.

Tainted diesel fuel will ruin the fuel injectors in a diesel engine.  Repair will typically run about 8000 NIS to clean out fuel system and rebuilt the fuel injectors.

I personally know 5 other families in Beit Shemesh who had this type of damage when they bought fuel from the depot in Machseya and the Tehilim gas next to Ezra V'Achva.

Best advise is to buy diesel fuel from PAZ or SONOL where the fuel supply is regulated, and the sellers stand by their product.
