[RBS] Funding for a teen to do a chessed program in Israel?

A 17 year old girl I know (who also has relatives in RBS) who is victim to a
terrible divorce wants a summer in Israel.  She was accepted to a chessed
program which is part time chessed and part time learning .  Her dream is
within reach, but the scholarship that she was told she would "for sure" get
, never came through.  She has worked hard to get part of the funds, her
mother is giving all she can, my understanding is her father won't help her,
and she still needs more.  I know the family personally a well as the rabbis
involved.  She is a really great girl who needs this break from a difficult
situation .  She has always dreamed of moving here since a visit many years
ago, and this is an important first step.  I am fully aware and agree the
feeding the hungry must come before helping a teen ager get to an Israel
summer trip. However I am sure there are scholarships out there for such a
situation. If you have any info on such scholarships please  be in touch
with me so I can direct it to her.
