 Dear special list friends,
 Please join us at our home on Sunday, November 4th, 2012 for at 7:30pm for a meeting in support of Yad Ezra V'Shulamit.

 Check out the website at  http://www.yadezra.net/ Yad Ezra has a small office in Jerusalem which also houses one of four lunch centers in the country.
 It provides 1,200 hot lunches daily to children. Each week YE prepares 2,500 Shabbat food baskets which feed 6 people for three days. 
The math is 20,000 meals a week. Kibbutzim, moshavim and almost every food manufacturer in the country assists YE
 There are also food distribution centers in Carmiel, Tzfat and Jerusalem and trucks carry food throughout the country.
 
 YE also sponsors 100 teen clubs in 33 cities helping teens find themselves and charting a productive path in this confusing world. Rabbi volunteers (who are carefully screened) teach core Jewish values in a non judgemental fashion to thousands of teens each week. 
 
 In Tzfat there is woman's empowerment center which provides self expression experiences through the arts. Dance, drama, music, crafts and ceramics for women of all ages and special mother daughter programs are offered weekly by professionals in their fields.Women from all over the north attend these classes.  Tzfat also has 6 club groups that meet weekly. 

Yad Ezra also has a program for kids at risk, especially young women.? The program is called Learn and Live.  The website is http://www.learnandlive.org.il/. Since its inception Learn and Live has rescued 250 Jewish girls from abusive situations in Arab villages!!!
 
 This program is endorsed by MK Eli Yishai, Ilan Shochat, Lori Palatnick, Jonathon Rosenblum and Rabbi Beryl Wein and other distinguished personalities.
