[RBS] Voter registration information

National elections for the 19th Knesset and government will take place on
Tuesday, January 22, 2013 / 11 Shvat 5763.****

In order to vote, you must appear at the polling station for which your
name is registered in the voters' registry.****

The voters' registry generally includes name and ID/TZ number of all
Israeli citizens over the age of 18, the polling station at which they are
registered, and the poll number within the station at which they are to
vote.  This information is taken directly from the Population Registry kept
by the Interior Ministry, and in 99% of the cases, every Israeli eligible
to vote will already be included.****

Still, it is a good idea to check that you are properly registered with the
Central Elections Committee.  During this check you will be told whether
your ID/TZ number is registered, and at which polling station and which
poll you will be able to vote.  The Voter's Roll is available for public
inspection until Thursday November 29.****

In order to check whether you appear on the Voters' Roll, you can call tool
free 1-800-800-508.  You should receive a human answer from Sunday to
Thursday 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  At
other times, there is an automated answer available in Hebrew, Arabic,
Russian, Amharic and English.****

You can also send an SMS to 052-999-0199, containing just your 9-digit
ID/TZ number.  Within a minute, you will receive an automated response by
SMS confirming your registration and poll location.****

Those hard of hearing may send a fax to 1-800-800-608 .****
